| In the town's historic seaport of Radiwan, the Katipuneros of the Philippine Revolution landed in September 1898. The town is fourteen kilometres from Basco, the provincial capital. There is one other major settlement in the municipality named San Vicente that is situated a kilometre north of the town proper.
